The College major with the highest starting salary is computer engineering at $70,400 a year, Forbes reports. It is followed by chemical engineering at $66,400, computer science at $64,400, and aerospace, aeronautical and astronautical engineering at $64,000, according to a salary survey by the National Association of Colleges and Employers.
